ROBERT BORDEN

President of Blueprint Enrollment

Robert Borden is the President of Blueprint Enrollment Consulting and the Co-Creator of the Blueprint™ App, a strategic enrollment planning tool designed for small and niche institutions. He also serves as the Associate Dean of Enrollment at the Tianjin Juilliard School, Juilliard’s only campus outside of New York City, located in Tianjin, China.

With more than two decades of experience in college enrollment, Robert has held senior leadership roles at highly specialized and arts-focused institutions. These include Vice President of Enrollment at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Vice President of Enrollment at the Cleveland Institute of Art, as well as a variety of enrollment leadership positions at the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music and Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf.  

Throughout his career, Robert has consulted and helped a number of institutions recruit and enroll talented students while building sustainable enrollment strategies aligned with each school’s mission. Through his work with Blueprint Enrollment Consulting, he draws on deep expertise in performing and visual arts admissions, financial aid strategy, and niche-school strategic enrollment planning to support colleges and universities around the world.

Robert earned his undergraduate degree in Music Education from DePauw University and his M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Miami University of Ohio.

He now lives in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts, with his wife, Louise, and their dog, Poppy. In his free time, he enjoys photography, traveling with family, and exploring the natural beauty of Cape Cod.
